Job description

The InZone Program Aide position is responsible for supervising children and facilitating instructors through the activities of the InZone program.  The Program Aide's purpose is to set positive expectations for student success as well as contributing to classroom management and campus safety.  This position is under the direct supervision of the Manager of Operations, Wellness and Youth Programming. 

Schedule Information InZone program is scheduled Monday through Friday beginning June 8-August 14. Employees are required to attend all training sessions in the weeks prior to the start of the camp. InZone hours of operation are 7:30a.m.-5:30p.m. Scheduling shifts are designated by the  Manager of Operations, Wellness and Youth Programming. Applicants need to be able to work the designated InZone schedule to be considered for employment.

Education Requirements   Individuals 16 years or older with experience in a childcare/camp setting or supervising children's activities or programs preferred.

Essential Functions

  • Provide a safe environment for the participants of the program.
  • Work directly with the children by directing and assisting children to classrooms/buildings, to and from lunch each day and supervising in the classroom and cafeteria. 
  • Be a positive role model or mentor for children. 
  • Work in a cooperative manner with your colleagues 
  • Greet participants and parents.
  • Notify Instructors and/or InZone management staff of any problems that may arise.
  • Be familiar with and follow the guidelines set forth in the staff manual, the InZone brochure and parent paperwork.
  • Be able to work a Monday-Friday schedule when InZone is in session.
