Job description

Growing full service firm looking to add a talented Water Resources Engineer to their Louisville, Kentucky office!



Responsibilities:

  • Design of wastewater treatment plants
  • Design of gravity sewer and pump station that meet municipality standards
  • Water distribution, storage and pumping design
  • Water/sewer system master planning
  • Permitting for railroad, DOT/Roadway, OEPA, and Municipalities
  • Assist team with design of other civil engineering projects
  • Use technical expertise to help team solve complicated issues


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience in professional design:
  • Wastewater treatment plant design
    • Hydraulics
    • Water Distribution, Wastewater Collection and Treatment systems analysis
    • Asset management and pipeline design hydraulics
    • Inspection, condition assessment, and proper repair/rehabilitation design of sewers
  • Experience with comprehending/interpreting codes
  • Experience reading/understand construction drawings
  • Experience developing estimates/budgets
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and GIS software



Salary is commensurate with experience.
