Job description

Movement Search and Delivery is working with a leading manufacturing company in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area to identify and evaluate an Engineering & Quality Manager


About the Role:

You will partner with teams at the site, collaborate with division technical resources, and work with customers, suppliers, and auditors to drive process control, product quality, and technical innovation.


What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Lead technical resources to support strategic objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership for operations.
  • Support and improve conversion operations.
  • Oversee raw material purchasing from a technical standpoint.
  • Drive process control improvements, yield enhancement, cost reduction, and scrap reduction initiatives.


  • Serve as the Management Representative for internal and external quality systems.
  • Lead the Quality Management System, including:
  • -Contract review
  • -Certifications and specifications
  • -NDT administration
  • -Internal and external audits
  • -Corrective actions
  • Define and implement monitoring and control systems (e.g., SPC) for key process parameters.
  • Develop and execute a best-in-class Quality Assurance program.


  • Manage budgets for Process Engineering, Quality Assurance Engineering, and Lab functions.
  • Develop technical and quality engineering talent across the organization.
  • Provide technical support to Sales for contract and specification review.
  • Lead customer visits and support customer complaint investigations.
  • Monitor and report key metrics for business reviews.


What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering required.
  • Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science strongly preferred.
  • Advanced degree (MS or PhD) is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of technical management experience
  • Prior supervisory or managerial experience required.
  • Strong background in Technical and/or Quality Engineering.
  • Strong communication skillsโ€”written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and technical documentation.
