Job Location: Clovis

Engineering-in-Training Responsibilities

4Creeks is seeking an Engineer-in-Training to work under the direction of a Project Engineer or Manager on our Public Works team. Responsibilities for this position would include preparing calculations, assist with preparing technical reports, technical exhibits, and construction plans. Other responsibilities include drafting topographic surveys, spreadsheet calculations, technical specification writing, site visits and documentation of site conditions for typical civil engineering projects. This position will primarily entail office work.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. The position requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
  3. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge in preparation of plans, engineering design for various engineering projects, and exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  4. Engineer-In-Training Certificate
  5. Experience using AutoCAD (version 2009 or higher, Civil 3D preferred) is preferred.
  6. Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel is required.

Compensation

The salary will be determined by the candidates skill and experience level and highly competitive with industry standards. The benefits package includes employee health coverage (50% coverage for dependents), company 401(k) contribution, participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), and performance bonuses. The expected pay range for these positions is $32 to $44/hour.
