Senior Civil Engineer Salary Range $10,272.00 mo - $13,110.00 mo Civil Engineer Salary Range $9,499.00 mo - $12,124.00 mo Senior Civil Engineer Description: This position is considered a management level classification. Under general direction, performs advanced and complex professional civil engineering work and serves in a technical and administrative leadership capacity within the Engineering Division

Plans, organizes, manages, and coordinates the design, review, permitting, construction, and delivery of public works, capital improvement, utility, and private development projects. Serves as project manager for major engineering and infrastructure initiatives; oversees consultant and construction contracts; develops and administers project budgets; prepares technical and administrative reports; and secures and administers grant and other funding opportunities. Provides technical guidance and direction to professional, technical, and support staff and represents the City before public agencies, commissions, City Council, developers, contractors, and the public.
