M&J is seeking an Office Engineer / Project Controls Engineer to manage DDOT construction documentation and project controls-including RFIs/submittals, quantity tracking and pay estimates, change order support, meeting minutes, and electronic document control through closeout.

Responsibilities

Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, correspondence, and contract records. Track contractor submittals and shop drawings and coordinate review with project staff and DDOT personnel. Maintain quantity tracking logs and documentation for progress payment estimates. Assist with preparation and documentation of change orders, supplemental agreements, and force account work. Maintain document control systems and electronic project files. Prepare meeting minutes for progress meetings and coordination meetings. Assist with preparation of monthly progress reports and project status reports required by DDOT. Support project staff with contract administration documentation and records management. Assist with preparation of project closeout documentation.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Minimum 5-10 years of experience in construction documentation or project administration.

Preferred

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification. NICET Level II or III certification. OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Training. Experience with electronic construction documentation systems used by DOT agencies.
