Job description

Position Information Take the next step in your civil engineering career. A Civil Engineer IV performs professional engineering work in the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of civil engineering projects. Minimum Qualification Requirements At time of application, you must be a citizen, national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment. EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Equivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in an engineering specialty.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Three years of non-registered professional civil engineering experience. LICENSE REQUIREMENT: Possession of an appropriate valid driver's license, as required. Possession of a valid license as a professional Civil Engineer in the State of Hawaii.

NOTE: Applicants with a current out-of-state professional Civil Engineer license must obtain their Hawaii license prior to appointment.
