Job description

WHO WE ARE

The PR industry hasn't really changed in fifty years. Relationships, lunches, luck, and a clip report at the end of the month.

Interdependence is rebuilding it from the ground up. Interviewed, our proprietary platform, analyzes 300,000+ stories every day across a network of 250,000 journalists. We turn earned media into something measurable, repeatable, and worth paying for โ€” and apply the same data and discipline across paid, social, content, and brand. Integrated marketing run by one team, on one system, accountable to one result.

We move fast. The best argument wins. We hire for sharp thinking, real craft, and ownership from day one. If you want comfortable, this isn't the place. If you want to win, build with us.

THE ROLE

Interdependence is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Account Executive โ€“ SEO to lead, manage, and execute SEO strategy for enterprise-level clients. This role blends strategic account leadership with hands-on SEO expertise, serving as the primary partner and trusted advisor for key clients.

You will own client relationships, guide cross-functional workflows, and build integrated SEO programs that drive measurable improvements in visibility, traffic, and business outcomes. • Own day-to-day leadership of enterprise SEO accounts as the primary strategist and client partner.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive SEO strategies rooted in technical SEO, content optimization, search intent analysis, and performance insights.
  • Present recommendations, data-driven findings, and performance updates to senior stakeholders, including CMOs, founders, and marketing executives.
  • Translate ranking shifts, analytics, and technical findings into clear business impact and actionable guidance.

SEO Development & Execution

  • Conduct technical audits, keyword strategy development, content optimization planning, and authority-building initiatives.
  • Partner with SEO specialists, content teams, PR colleagues, and analytics experts to ensure cohesive cross-channel execution.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on SEO KPIs across visibility, traffic, engagement, and conversions.
  • Identify emerging search trends and competitive shifts to drive ongoing strategy refinement.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with enterprise clients through clarity, transparency, and proactive communication.
  • Anticipate client needs and guide them through complex SEO decisions with confidence and authority.
  • Oversee onboarding, communication cadence, and strategic alignment throughout the client lifecycle.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with PR, ORM, creative, web, and analytics teams to integrate SEO within broader communications and reputation programs.
  • Share insights with leadership to inform service evolution, innovation, and competitive positioning.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-4 years of experience in SEO, digital strategy, or integrated marketing, with significant enterprise-level client experience.
  • Deep expertise in technical SEO, content strategy, ranking factors, search intent, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong client leadership skills with a track record of managing complex relationships and delivering measurable results.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and consultative problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to translate technical data into strategic recommendations and business outcomes.
  • Highly organized with demonstrated success managing multiple enterprise accounts simultaneously.
  • Agency experience preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with CRM and project management tools is a plus.

THE PERKS

We offer a competitive benefits packageโ€”including medical/dental/vision coverage, vacation/sick leave/holiday PTO, 401(k), flexible remote work options, and Summer Fridays.
