Job description

DEPARTMENT: ACEC Research Institute

REPORTS TO: Executive Director

SUPERVISES: N/A

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for managing engagement of ACEC Members and donors of the ACEC Research Institute. Manage the annual scholarship program and the Community Building Roadmap tool. Manage the RCEP program, providing support to providers and users. Oversee delivery of all donor benefits. Communicate regularly with the Institute's donors, board and committee members, association staff, state Member Organizations, and senior executives within the engineering industry, as well as students interested in engineering careers.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Donor Engagement

Track and ensure fulfillment of all donor deliverables.

Assist in scheduling of donor deliverables.

Aggregate materials and prepare annual accountability reports for all multi-year donors.

Schedule all donor meetings to review reports.


Member Engagement

Manage all aspects of Community Building Roadmap with vendor, research team and member users.

User account management for the Roadmap.

Manage RCEP program, engaging both providers and subscribers.

Manage Institute's social media presence related to promotion of scholarships and Roadmap.

Assist in website content management.


Scholarship Program

Manage scholarship platform, serve as lead POC with platform provider.

Work with donors to develop custom scholarship criteria, multi-year agreements and award selection.

Provide platform assistance to students and MOs.

Lead effort to drive student engagement in the platform through social media efforts, ABET, MOs and universities.

Manage scholarship selection process, distribution of grants and donor reporting.

Assist in board and committee meeting logistics, working with ACEC meetings team.

Assist in fundraising events.

Assist Executive Director as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, project management or related field.

Minimum 5 years marketing, association or donor development experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

Detail oriented and highly organized.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, including strong PowerPoint skills.

SalesForce, NetForum and Monday.com a plus.

Salary and Compensation
