Overview

Golden Key Group is seeking a highly organized, analytical, and relationship-driven Strategic Engagement Manager to help execute the company's strategic priorities. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, this role serves as a strategic contributor responsible for advancing corporate initiatives through business analysis, stakeholder engagement, organizational effectiveness, and continuous improvement.

Working across all levels of the organization, the Strategic Engagement Manager collaborates with leadership, employees, customers, and strategic partners to evaluate business performance, identify opportunities, facilitate strategic initiatives, and improve organizational outcomes. This individual serves as a connector across functions, bringing together people, information, and insights to help the organization make informed decisions and achieve long-term growth objectives.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how organizations operate, analyzing trends, asking thoughtful questions, building relationships, and helping teams turn strategy into measurable results.

Responsibilities Strategic Analysis & Business Insights
  • Analyze proposal activity, business development efforts, customer engagements, and strategic initiatives to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct win/loss analysis to better understand factors influencing business outcomes and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Facilitate lessons learned and after-action reviews following proposals, customer engagements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Capture, Recruiting, Operations, and Program teams to identify patterns that impact organizational success.
  • Research market trends, customer needs, competitive positioning, and industry developments to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, presentations, and recommendations that enable data‑informed business decisions.
  • Help answer critical business questions, including:
    • Why are we winning opportunities?
    • Why are we losing opportunities?
    • What trends are emerging across customers, proposals, and programs?
    • What improvements will strengthen future performance?
Strategic Initiatives
  • Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence.
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions, working groups, and organizational initiatives.
  • Monitor strategic initiatives and identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities.
  • Support process improvement and business transformation efforts across the organization.
  • Assist with special projects that support corporate growth and long‑term strategic objectives.
  • Support cross‑functional teams by providing strategic planning, analysis, and engagement resources for high‑priority customer initiatives and corporate objectives.
  • Help ensure strategic initiatives are effectively communicated, executed, and measured.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with employees, customers, teaming partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Foster collaboration across departments by connecting people, ideas, and resources.
  • Partner with Business Development, Recruiting, Operations, Programs, and Corporate teams to support customer engagement activities as requested.
  • Assist business units with planning, coordinating, and enhancing customer meetings, industry events, conferences, executive briefings, proposal discussions, and strategic engagement opportunities.
  • Promote a collaborative environment that strengthens internal partnerships and enhances the customer experience.
Organizational Effectiveness
  • Assess organizational dynamics and identify opportunities to improve collaboration, communication, and efficiency.
  • Recognize strengths across teams and connect individuals to solve business challenges.
  • Recommend practical solutions that align people, processes, and strategic priorities.

Qualifications
  • Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic initiatives, business analysis, organizational operations, stakeholder engagement, business development, program support, organizational leadership, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify trends and translate information into actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • High level of professionalism, sound judgment, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
