Job description

Position Overview

Moored Beauty Schools is seeking motivated and passionate Paraprofessionals (Student Instructor Trainees) to support classroom and clinic operations while completing our Instructor Training Program at Twin City Beauty College. This role provides hands-on experience in cosmetology education while preparing trainees to become licensed instructors in the beauty industry.

Paraprofessionals are considered paid trainees and must remain actively enrolled in the Instructor Training Program. Under the supervision of the Campus Director and instructional staff, paraprofessionals assist with teaching, student engagement, classroom management, and administrative tasks while developing the skills necessary to transition into a licensed educator role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist instructors with classroom and clinic activities
  • Support instructors with teaching demonstrations and lesson delivery
  • Help monitor student progress and engagement
  • Assist with grading assignments and administering tests
  • Support the documentation of grades and Minimum Practical Applications (MPAs)
  • Help maintain accurate student records and documentation
  • Assist with classroom management and student supervision
  • Provide support to students during hands-on training and clinic services
  • Assist with maintaining a positive, professional learning environment
  • Participate in training and mentorship to develop instructional and leadership skills

Qualifications

  • Active cosmetology license
