Position Summary
The DAS Project Manager will lead DAS deployment programs, ensuring successful execution of projects from planning through completion. This role combines strategic program leadership with hands-on construction management, driving consistency, quality, and profitability for large-scale DAS initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership
- Establish deployment strategy aligned with national goals, including timelines, milestones, and SLAs.
- Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for wireless stakeholders.
- Manage program P&L, forecasts, and profitability.
- Standardize processes across all markets.
- Oversee integration and optimization coordination.
Deployment & Construction Management
- Manage construction activities and subcontractors.
- Ensure installation standards, field QA, site readiness, and logistics compliance.
- Oversee testing protocols: sweeps, PIM, OTDR, commissioning.
- Conduct weekly deployment reviews.
- Coordinate internally across engineering, construction, finance, legal, and safety.
- Support alignment with venue partners, municipalities, and property owners.
- Manage documentation, submittals, and compliance.
- Oversee BOMs, as-builts, closeout packages, and reporting.
- Maintain dashboards and performance metrics; implement workflow automation where feasible.
Quality & Risk Management
- Implement QA/QC standards for construction and integration.
- Manage supply chain and warehousing risk.
- Conduct root-cause analyses for delays or quality issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5-10 years in DAS or wireless network project management.
- Expertise in DAS OEMs (JMA, Corning, CommScope, SOLiD) and wireless installation standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multi-market, multi-team programs.
- Proficiency in Excel and project management tools.
- Experience with enterprise, stadium, or airport DAS deployments.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and travel regionally (10-30%).
- Valid driver's license; must pass background and drug screening.
- Willingness to work extended or irregular hours as needed.
