Prologis Energy Solutions is transforming the way our customers consume, generate, and manage energy across the global Prologis portfolio. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President, Global Asset Management to lead the commercial, operational and financial stewardship of a rapidly growing portfolio of distributed energy assets, including solar generation, battery energy storage systems, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and on-prem energy solutions.
This executive leader serves as the primary steward for establishing and scaling a world-class asset management platform that maximizes asset performance, portfolio profitability, and operational excellence throughout the asset lifecycle. The role will oversee all aspects of asset management globally, with primary responsibility for the United States portfolio and strategic oversight of Europe and Latin America.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop & lead the global asset management strategy for Prologis' portfolio of solar, energy storage, mobility, and on-site energy assets, maximizing long-term value creation, financial performance, operational excellence, and asset reliability.

  • Oversee all aspects of portfolio asset management, including commercial strategy, portfolio optimization, forecasting, budgeting, performance analytics, risk management, and internal and external reporting.

  • Serve as the executive owner for key commercial relationships, including energy off-takers, real estate partners, utilities, market participants, service providers, and other strategic stakeholders.

  • Provide executive oversight of asset onboarding, operational performance, and lifecycle management, ensuring assets consistently meet or exceed production, availability, reliability, safety, and financial targets.

  • Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, market, operational, financing, and governance requirements across the global portfolio.

  • Drive strategic initiatives that enhance portfolio profitability, scalability, operational efficiency, and competitive differentiation while supporting broader company growthobjectives.

  • Establishportfolio performance metrics, governance processes, and reporting frameworks, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders across Prologis.

  • Lead the development and execution of long-range portfolio plans, including revenue forecasting, capital planning, budgeting, and performance management.

  • Provide enterprise oversight of asset management practices by integrating asset operations into project development strategy, underwriting, and investment decision-making;establishdecision frameworks thatoptimizelong-term asset value while balancing commercial performance, operational requirements, customer commitments, and capital allocation priorities.

  • Own the enterprise asset management technology platform and roadmap, defining the strategic vision, governance, and cross-functional adoption of asset management systems to enable data-driven decision-making, standardized asset lifecycle processes, performance optimization, and scalable operations across the portfolio.

  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing global asset management organization, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Building blocksforsuccess

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, utilities, or related industries.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience managing asset-intensive businesses.

  • Experience with solar, battery storage, EV charging, and distributed energy resources.

  • Strong financial forecasting, reporting, and portfolio managementexpertise.

  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional and global teams

Preferred:

  • Demonstrates willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Exercises sound judgment, creative thinking, and accountability for outcomes.

  • MBA or advanced degree.

  • International asset management experience.

  • Experience scaling organizations during rapid growth.
    Familiarity with institutional-quality reporting, governance, and portfolio management practices.

Hiring Salary Range of: $198,000 - $275,000.Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target<I (Long Term Incentives))to be determined by the candidate's location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
