Job description

Resource Innovations is seeking an Associate Energy Efficiency Program Manager to join our growing team in the Northeast preferably located in New York or Massachusetts. As an Associate Program Manager with Resource Innovations, you will work in a dynamic environment leading and overseeing a cross-functional team of operations staff on commercial/industrial energy efficiency programs. The Associate Program Manager will play a highly visible role both internally and externally and will be responsible for developing short and long-term implementation plans, leading program implementation activities, and developing trusted relationships with clients, industry stakeholders, and program contacts.

The Associate Program Manager will make an impact through managing a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment and responding quickly to implementation changes or challenges and market conditions. This position requires excellent planning, budgeting, and people-management skills. Previous Energy Efficiency implementation experience along with a proven track record of project management, client satisfaction, data analysis, and experience with Existing Building Commissioning is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages subprojects and tasks including development of work plans to meet goals, aligning staff assignments, and providing performance reports and forecasts both internally and to clients.
  • Organizes and maintains databases for the coordination, collection, analysis and reporting of data.
  • Identifies, defines, quantifies, tracks, and drives the development of program deliverables on time and on budget.
  • Continuously assesses project progress to goal and develops innovative and creative solutions to new issues and/or market dynamics.
  • Manages client expectations, satisfaction, communications, and resolves and/or escalates client issues.
  • Interfaces with key internal departments such as Engineering, Software, Marketing, and Finance to develop efficiencies to meet program needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • A Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in related field including, but not limited to, business, energy/environment, engineering; a Masters degree in a related field preferred
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in energy efficiency or a related field required, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Proven success in developing and implementing project plans, scopes, and budgets as well as strategic initiatives
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Existing Building Commissioning is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position.ย  The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $90,000-$126,000.ย In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.ย  The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position.ย Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.ย
