POSITION EXPECTATIONSย 

To assist the Mission Services Department by coordinating the activities of the Community Based Training (CBT) program and to help as needed with the Student Work Experience Program (SWEP). This position also conducts all intakes for the CBT program as well as helps the Director of Disability and Volunteer Programs with the day-to-day administrative duties for the CBT program. The Disability Program Coordinator also assists Mission Services in meeting annual goals and meeting CARF (Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) and all other GII (Goodwill Industries International) Certification Standards and expectations.ย 

Responsibilitiesย ย 

  • Conducts intakes for all adult clients referred by Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) and the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) for participation in Goodwillโ€™s various CBT Programs. ย 

  • Schedules weekly intakes with clients, completes of all CBT Intake related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner and works collaboratively with the finance department on billing related inquires, meets a set weekly intake goal, and communicates with management as needed. ย 

  • Conducts quarterly quality case file reviews to ensure that all CBT case files are properly maintained in accordance with GIIโ€™s standards for Certification and CARF Accreditation in collaboration with the Mission Services Corporate Receptionist and Program Assistant. ย 

  • Serves as the backup for the Director of Disability and Volunteer Programs as needed and/or directed.ย 

  • Oversees weekly payroll preparation for all CBT Clients. ย 

  • Maintains the collection of new referrals, statistical, and billing data on excel spreadsheets or case management databases for all clients receiving services. ย 

  • Assists with tracking and evaluation projects (i.e., submits weekly/monthly reports to management, collect data for periodic institutional reviews, etc.). ย 

  • Assists in any other projects or tasks as determined by management.ย

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite software including a strong emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook.ย
