Energy Operations Manager


SUMMARY

This position is responsible for leading the day-to-day energy team, including refined fuels, propane, and lubricants.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Manage daily activities for bulk fuel and propane drivers.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Responsible for supervising energy drivers, technicians and service station managers.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Responsible for all bulk plants, retail facilities and equipment.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Work collectively with location employees to assure safe and profitable growth in all product areas at locations.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Communicate with customers on products and services, and deliveries.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Coordinate and communicate with sales personnel to complete customer deliveries and department operations efficiently, and on time.ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Promotes and sells petroleum products to new and existing customers.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Collaborations with other departments within the cooperative: agronomy, grain, feed

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Provides excellent customer service by managing difficulty or emotional situations; respond promptly to employee and customer needs. Resolve questions, complaints and concerns immediately and meet commitments.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Effectively communicates by verbal and written means with customers, employees, and management.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Maintains and promotes safety awareness; follows safety policies, procedures, and reporting requirements. (OSHA, DOT, environmental, etc.)

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Support operations for various locations and departments within the company.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Other duties assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Preferred Requirements; bachelorโ€™s degree and experience in energy operations or related business.
