Job Title - Data Analyst

Location - Research Triangle Park, NC

Duration – 6+ Months Contract

Total Hours/week - 40.00
1st Shift

Client: Medical Device Company

Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Only)
Work days/hours: M - F 8am - 5pm

Description:
The Data Analyst will oversee the design of core training curriculum by analyzing multiple data sources to identify current curricula and assist in the development of best in class Medical Affairs Training Curriculum.
This incumbent will interface with many different departments within BD and must be able to present ideas in a concise manner and have strong collaboration skills. This position reports directly to the Director of Global Medical Affairs Governance and Training Excellence.
The following duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative of the work performed by the incumbent in this position and are not all-inclusive. The omission of a specific duty or responsibility will not preclude it from the position:
• Development of Global MA Training Curricula to support the Global MA plans which includes ensuring strategic collaboration with Business Units, MA leads and countries to assess and incorporate training needs
• Participate as an active member of training workgroup and be a strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex problems and present innovative solutions
• Contributes to creation of an on-boarding plan for Global Medical Affairs
• Develops tools to measure impact of medical training management functions for efficiency and effectiveness, developing and delivering subsequent plans to continuously expand and enhance global medical training offerings
• Drive high performance, efficiency and effectiveness by developing, refining and improving on benchmarks, best practices and SOPs related to global medical training deliverables
Skills and Capabilities
• Highly proficient in Excel, including array functions, indexing, and matrix operations.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office platforms – PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Comfortable working in excel – Vlookup, index and match, sum product, etc.
• Excellent data analysis, reporting and project management skills
• Experienced in at least one programming language, preferably with at least some knowledge of Python, including Pandas, Numpy, and related visualization packages
• Experienced working with large data sets
• Experience working with Tableau or other visualization tools
• Familiarity with SQL databases
• Skilled at presenting information (able to explain the raw data, the process, and the results)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage projects.
• Proactive team player with flexibility and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and effectively with little oversight or management – Remote Position
• Strong desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high-energy and mission-driven colleagues
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to build relationships
Nice to Have:
• Prior experience working with Learning Management System, specifically SAP
• An understanding of medical terminology including basic understanding of job functions
• Background in linear algebra
