Position Summary
The Project Engineer / Sales Engineer plays a vital role in the successful delivery of technology projects, managing them from initial planning through implementation and support. This position requires expertise in network design, server and workstation builds, access control systems, and other technical solutions. The Project Engineer / Sales Engineer will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Coordination
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with client needs
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate with engineering, sales, and operations teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.

Technical Execution
  • Design and implement network architectures, surveillance systems, A/V solutions, access control systems, and other IT infrastructures
  • Configure and deploy servers, workstations, and wireless solutions
  • Oversee the integration of custom technical solutions, ensuring functionality and scalability.

Client Collaboration
  • Act as the primary technical liaison for clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide regular project updates, addressing technical concerns and managing expectations
  • Conduct training and handovers for client teams as required

Quality Assurance
  • Ensure all deliverables meet Forward Slash Technology's quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and security protocols

Qualifications and Skills
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in project engineering within the IT/technology sector
  • Hands-on experience with network design, server builds, access control, and surveillance systems

Technical Skills

Mandatory Requirements
