Job Summary: Lankenau Medical Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated Advanced Endoscopist to join our GI practice. The Advanced Endoscopist will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients through the use of advanced endoscopic procedures. This role involves diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal disorders, performing complex endoscopic procedures, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced endoscopic procedures.
  • Evaluate patients' health status by interpreting medical history and diagnostic test results.
  • Diagnose gastrointestinal disorders and diseases through endoscopic examinations.
  • Consult with patients to explain diagnoses, discuss treatment options, and answer any queries.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including gastroenterologists, surgeons, radiologists, and oncologists, to manage patient care.
  • Document and maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and progress reports.

Qualifications:
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology.
  • Additional specialized training in Advanced Endoscopy.
  • Proficient in advanced endoscopic procedures. Excellent patient management skills.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Current and valid medical license.
