Endocrinology, Weight Loss, & Diabetes Opportunity

Join Our Team: We are seeking a dedicated professional to become part of a dynamic group consisting of 2 physicians and 5 Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNPs).

Position Highlights:

  • Outpatient-focused role
  • High-demand practice environment
  • Minimal on-call responsibilities—phone consultations only
  • Responsibilities include diabetes management (Type I & II), pump and sensor therapy, diabetes education, medical nutrition therapy, pump initiation, comprehensive endocrinology services, and weight management
  • Teaching opportunities available for Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Residents, as well as ARNP/PA students and medical students

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Annual base salary of $286,989
  • Bonus package worth $100,000
  • Relocation assistance up to $15,000
  • Benefits commence on the first day of employment
  • Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance of $6,000

About Our Medical Center

Our Endocrinology clinic is situated within a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital, recognized nationally as a Top 100 Hospital. The facility offers easy access to a wide range of specialists, laboratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and more.

We employ over 300 healthcare providers across various specialties, including primary care, cardiology, general surgery, and many others. Our regional health system serves 14 counties and includes multiple critical access hospitals and clinics, catering to approximately 260,000 individuals who rely on us for their healthcare needs.

As a Level III Trauma Center, we provide on-site postgraduate education programs, including Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency Programs, as well as Cardiology Fellowships.

Candidate Qualifications
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited medical or osteopathic medical school
  • Completion of a relevant residency program with demonstrated competency
  • Board certified or board eligible (must achieve board certification within 3 years of eligibility)
  • Eligible for medical staff privileges at our facility
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Must possess or be eligible for a State of Iowa physician license, Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate, and Federal DEA Certificate
