As an Advisor I, Client OS Management, you will help deliver secure, reliable, and modern end-user computing experiences across Phillips 66. You will analyze and improve client operating system platforms, support large-scale device strategies, and partner with vendors and internal teams to bring new capabilities to life. This role offers the chance to work with leading technologies while directly impacting how thousands of colleagues get their work done every day.
What You'll Do
  • Manage the standard Windows client environment across approximately 22,000 laptops and desktops, including image creation, patching, and ongoing operating system lifecycle management.
  • Define, implement, and maintain client computing standards and configurations that align with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Design and enhance end-user computing infrastructure by analyzing current and future-state needs, recommending improvements, and contributing to overall change and release plans.
  • Serve as a Tier III escalation point for complex client OS and endpoint issues, partnering with support, infrastructure, and cyber security teams to restore services and address root causes.
  • Package, certify, test, and deploy software and updates using enterprise software distribution tools, supporting core applications such as Adobe and Java.
  • Administer Group Policy, antivirus, and endpoint detection and response solutions to strengthen device security and stability across the environment.
  • Monitor and analyze performance, reliability, and usage data for client OS platforms to identify trends, drive continuous improvement, and optimize user experience.
  • Collaborate with technology vendors such as Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, and device manufacturers, as well as internal stakeholders, to evaluate, pilot, and implement new client technologies.

What You'll Bring - Required
  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • Associates, Trade Certification or Diploma in a relevant field
  • 1 or more years of experience in an applicable Information Technology discipline

What Makes You Stand Out - Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in an information technology-related field or higher level of education
  • 5 or more years of experience in Information Technology, with a focus on end-user computing or client operating systems
  • Hands-on experience with Windows 10 or newer client operating systems, including image engineering, automated deployment, and lifecycle management
  • Experience with virtualization and virtual desktop technologies (for example, VMware, virtualized desktop services) and related automation tools such as PowerCLI
  • Programming or scripting experience (such as PowerShell) to automate client management, packaging, or reporting tasks
  • Experience with public cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or NC2) supporting endpoint or infrastructure services
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical environments, identify improvements, and contribute to structured change and release plans
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across infrastructure, security, and business-facing IT teams and with third-party technology vendors

Compensation Range
This position has a base salary range of $96,300 - $117,700.
