We're looking for a highly organized, people-first Office Staff member who can keep daily operations running smoothly while making every family who walks through our doors feel welcome. About Encore Music For over a decade, Encore Music has helped students of all ages build confidence, discipline, creativity, and joy through exceptional music education. We now serve over 500 weekly students across our South Pasadena and San Marino locations, and we're known for exceptional customer service, highly qualified teachers, and a strong community culture. We invest heavily in training and support so every staff member can do their best work.
About the Role As Office Staff, you'll be the operational backbone of our front desk — supporting teachers, families, and prospective students while keeping our systems accurate and our office running like clockwork. A year in, you'll know our families by name, our systems inside and out, and you'll have helped shape a front-office experience families rave about.
What You'll Do

Office Operations
  • Run daily front-desk operations and office workflow
  • Keep enrollment, billing, and administrative systems accurate and up to date
  • Support scheduling and day-to-day operational coordination
  • Maintain organized records, communications, and office procedures
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
Family & Customer Experience

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to students and families
  • Respond promptly and professionally to questions and concerns
  • Create a welcoming, positive front-office experience
  • Reach out to prospective students and support enrollment conversations
Recitals & Administrative Accuracy

  • Own recital tracking, reporting, and sign-up records
  • Support special events, projects, and seasonal initiatives

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting pay: $21–$23/hour
