This role involves leading applied research and experimental projects, leaving no stone unturned to ensure their successful realization. Your responsibilities will encompass engineering projects aimed at creating and implementing cutting-edge IT tools, systems, and capabilities, reshaping the landscape of the cyber battlefield and asserting the supremacy of our cyber forces over adversaries. Collaboration with diverse stakeholders will be essential to achieve mission objectives, and your deep technical proficiency will guide every stage of the process to ensure meticulous execution in a secure environment.

Duties

  • Assess, develop, and provide technical contributions to the systems engineering process.
  • Create technical documents, system architecture, and system design documentation.
  • Collaborate with government entities to address technical considerations and tackle issues or conflicts within Systems Engineering.
  • Safeguard the technical excellence of work outcomes and deliverables within the scope of Systems Engineering.
  • Foster effective communication with fellow team members, government overseers, and senior executives.
  • Lead system development and implementation planning, crafting system engineering management and integration and test plans.
  • Independently resolve intricate problems by analyzing complex information and taking suitable actions.
  • Provide engineering mentorship to technical personnel and foster productive relationships with governmental agencies and mission partners.
  • Deliver comprehensive briefings on intricate subjects to audiences, potentially including high-level decision-makers.
  • Contribute significantly to advanced research projects as a senior team member, working within an integrated research unit.

Qualifications

Required education and experience:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in System Engineering.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in System Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum DoD 8570 IASAE Level II certification (CASP+, CISSP, CSSLP).
