Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join Skild AI and help drive innovation in robotics technology. In this role, you'll design DC power systems, integrate sensors, and collaborate on advanced motor driver and power electronics. You'll play a key part in hardware design, testing, and system validation to ensure reliability and performance in cutting-edge robotics solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement DC power systems, including battery management systems, monitoring, and protection.
  • Collaborate with firmware engineers to design and validate motor driver circuits and power electronics systems.
  • Integrate and fuse sensor data, including IMUs, encoders, hall sensors, and temperature sensors (PCB-level design).
  • Develop and test power/sensor electronics systems in collaboration with hardware and firmware teams.
  • Ensure system reliability through testing, validation, and debugging of hardware systems in the lab.
  • Document design processes and contribute to hardware best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or Mechatronics.
  • Hands-on experience with DC power systems, battery management, and power electronics.
