Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - San Francisco Bay Area, CA

CLFC Healthcare & Communications is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians for a unique federal facility assignment in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a rare opportunity to provide emergency medical services in one of the most iconic locations in the country.

Position Overview

You will serve as the primary emergency medical responder for a federal facility, providing pre-hospital emergency care, patient assessment, and medical transport coordination. This position requires physical fitness, situational awareness, and the ability to work in a dynamic outdoor environment with limited immediate backup resources.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide emergency medical assessment, treatment, and stabilization for patients

- Respond to medical emergencies including traumatic injuries, cardiac events, and environmental emergencies

- Coordinate medical evacuations and transport with local emergency services, Coast Guard, and fire departments

- Maintain emergency medical equipment, supplies, and medications

- Conduct daily safety assessments and equipment readiness checks

- Document all patient encounters and medical interventions accurately

- Participate in emergency preparedness drills and training exercises

- Provide basic first aid and health screenings as needed

- Collaborate with facility security and operations teams on emergency protocols

Required Qualifications

- Current EMT-Basic certification (National Registry or California state)

- Current CPR/AED certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)

- Minimum 2 years of emergency medical services experience
