Job Description:Deliver compassionate nursing care under the direct guidance of Providers and Registered Nurses, ensuring exceptional patient support. Accurately document patient care activities and promptly communicate any changes in patient condition to the appropriate team members. Collaborate closely with RNs and Providers to address uncertainties in patient care or medical procedures. Empower patients by providing essential health education and reinforcing teachings from the healthcare team. Efficiently manage and coordinate patient information within the department, handle vital administrative and secretarial duties, and maintain a seamless workflow. Serve as the welcoming face of the department by expertly addressing customer inquiries and directing them to the right resources for optimal service.
Department Description:Neurology Consultants is an outpatient clinic located on the Emplify Health by Bellin - Hospital Campus. Our team is dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care to patients living with a wide range of neurological conditions, including Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, migraines, epilepsy, dementia, and more.
Our department is composed of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of RNs, LPNs, Medical Assistants, and Providers who work together to deliver exceptional care and support to our patients and their families. We take pride in our commitment to high-quality clinical practice, teamwork, and patient-centered service.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistants: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Healthcareer Association (CCMA) certification required and must be maintained throughout employment.
- Licensed Practical Nurses: Multi-state Wisconsin LPN license required; must be eligible to practice in the state of Michigan
- Clinical Assistants: Current WI EMT license/certification required
- Previous clinic experience preferred.
