Empower Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our esteemed team at our Woodbridge, Virginia rehabilitation facility. This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Woodbridge. The environment is designed to enhance patient recovery and engagement, featuring modern equipment and resources tailored for comprehensive rehabilitation programs. You will work in a cohesive team alongside other healthcare professionals, ensuring a multi-disciplinary approach to patient rehabilitation.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and devise individualized treatment plans based on their unique needs and goals.
• Provide expert consultation and guidance to other healthcare providers about a patient’s continuum of care, ensuring a seamless treatment experience.
• Maintain high standards of patient interaction, demonstrating cultural competency and adhering to customer service excellence.
• Implement and monitor treatment plans, including educating patients on exercises, techniques, and lifestyle adjustments to enhance their recovery.
• Follow up on treatment efficacy, adapting plans as necessary to meet patient needs, and document all patient interactions according to professional standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team, engaging with referral sources and physicians to align patient health goals and care strategies.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote physical therapy and educate the public about available services.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through meetings and educational programs, striving to maintain the highest documentation standards.

Our primary focus is on orthopedic patients who may have experienced injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions impacting their mobility and function. We serve a diverse population in the Woodbridge area, addressing each patient’s unique challenges with empathy and customized care strategies to facilitate recovery and improve their quality of life.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are mandatory for this position.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in computer applications and documentation systems.

• Two years of experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, providing you with the necessary expertise to excel in this role.
