Accounting Coordinator
Location: United States (Hybrid-Greenwood Village, CO)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Summary
Verbit is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Coordinator to support our day-to-day accounting operations. This role is responsible for handling basic accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing administrative support to the accounting team.
The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and comfortable working with financial data in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable
  • Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and timely.
  • Verify invoices and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with payment processing, including ACH, wire, and check payments.
  • Maintain vendor records and respond to routine vendor inquiries.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve basic discrepancies.
Accounts Receivable
  • Uploading invoices and posting revenue.
  • Apply customer payments and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with monitoring outstanding balances and following up on overdue accounts.
  • Respond to routine customer billing inquiries.
General Accounting Support
  • Maintain organized accounting files and documentation.
  • Assist with account reconciliations and month-end activities.
  • Enter and update financial information within accounting systems.
  • Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP, or AR preferred.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
