Labor and Employment Associate Attorney - Atlanta

Our client, a prestigious Am Law 200 firm with a strong presence in Atlanta and Washington, D.C., is seeking a highly skilled Labor and Employment Associate Attorney to join the team. As a key member of our litigation practice, you will work closely with their experienced attorneys to provide exceptional representation to clients in a wide range of employment law matters.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience in general litigation and employment law. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex business litigation, as well as litigation experience in employment disputes, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour matters. Excellent writing and communication skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the representation of clients in employment law matters, including litigation and counseling

• Conduct research and analyze complex employment law issues

• Draft and edit pleadings, motions, and other court documents

• Prepare and present cases in court

• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategy and provide support

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of employment law developments and trends

Requirements:

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school

• 3-5 years of experience in general litigation and employment law

• Admitted to practice law in Georgia or eligible for admission

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
