Job description

Blueberry's Mission:

Our mission is to turn every family’s living room into their own personal pediatric urgent care. We combine home exam kits, concierge-like access, and AI-enabled Pediatricians to provide affordable and near-instant clinic-level care, 24/7. We believe every child deserves access to top-quality healthcare.

We’ve proven that by drastically improving access and turning healthcare into a consumer‑grade experience, we drive better health outcomes for children and families while dramatically reducing medical costs for parents and health plans (up to 50% reduction in ED costs).

We are a mission and values driven company. You can learn more about our values HERE.

Note: Beware of Scammers. Blueberry will NEVER ask you to download software/apps or request sensitive personal information like bank accounts or social security numbers. If you received an email requesting this information it is likely a scam. We are only accepting candidates through our job board.

The Opportunity

Blueberry is redefining how working families access pediatric care, and we're looking for an Employer Account Executive to build the next phase of our employer business.

This is a pure hunter role focused on winning new self-insured employer clients. Reporting directly to the Head of Strategic Growth, you will own the full sales cycle, build relationships across the benefits consultant and broker ecosystem, and help shape how Blueberry goes to market with employers.

This is not a role for someone looking to inherit a mature territory and established pipeline. We want a strategic seller who loves opening doors, building relationships from scratch, and closing business.

What You'll Own
  • Own a $2M annual ARR bookings quota focused on net-new self-insured employers.

  • Build your own pipeline through direct prospecting, account-based strategies, referrals, and broker and consultant relationships.

  • Develop relationships across the benefits ecosystem, including consultants, brokers, TPAs, and other strategic partners.

  • Identify and prioritize target employers and develop strategies to penetrate complex accounts.

  • Own opportunities from first conversation through business case, pricing, contracting, and close.

  • Translate Blueberry's clinical capabilities into a compelling employer value proposition around healthcare costs, employee experience, productivity, absenteeism, and access to pediatric care.

  • Build tailored presentations and business cases for benefits leaders, CHROs, CFOs, consultants, and other stakeholders.

  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting in HubSpot.

  • Represent Blueberry at relevant employer, benefits, broker, and consultant events.

  • Bring market intelligence back to Blueberry and help shape our employer go-to-market strategy, positioning, and offering.

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, including selling benefits, healthcare solutions, point solutions, or related services to employers.

  • A demonstrated record of exceeding quota and closing net-new employer business.

  • Deep understanding of how HR, Total Rewards, and benefits leaders evaluate and purchase new benefits.

  • Experience selling to self-insured employers and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales.

  • Experience working through benefits consultants and brokers. Existing relationships across national and regional consulting and brokerage firms are highly valued.

  • Ability to build compelling business cases and communicate effectively with benefits leaders, CHROs, CFOs, consultants, and other senior stakeholders.

  • Strong prospecting instincts and a demonstrated ability to create pipeline rather than depend on inbound demand.

  • Discipline around account planning, follow-up, CRM management, and forecasting.

  • A builder mentality. You are resourceful, persistent, comfortable with ambiguity, and willing to do the hands‑on work required to build something from the ground up.

Experience with digital health, pediatric or family benefits, or healthcare cost-reduction solutions is a plus.

What We Offer
  • The opportunity to help build Blueberry's employer business and directly influence our go-to-market strategy.

  • $120,000-$140,000 base salary ($200,000-$240,000 OTE) and uncapped upside.

  • Meaningful equity ownership so you participate directly in the value you help create.

  • Comprehensive benefits, remote flexibility, and travel as needed.

The Reality of the Role

Blueberry is still early in building its employer business. We are looking for someone who wants to help build the market, not simply sell within an established one.

You will own your business end to end. For the foreseeable future, you should expect to generate a meaningful portion of your own pipeline. You will have support from Blueberry's leadership, marketing, clinical, analytics, and implementation teams, but there is no BDR team waiting to fill your calendar.

If your success depends on receiving qualified leads, this is probably not the right role. If you are equally comfortable developing a strategy for a Fortune 500 employer and picking up the phone to get the first meeting, you may be exactly who we're looking for.

We want someone who sees limited infrastructure as an opportunity to build, experiments to find what works, and takes personal responsibility for moving the business forward.

Why Now

Blueberry's employer business is at an early but important inflection point. This hire will have an unusually large opportunity to shape how we approach employers, brokers, and consultants while building a meaningful new growth channel for the company.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
