As the Wellness Director, you'll oversee all clinical operations, supervise nursing staff, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices. You'll serve as a mentor, leader, and advocate, creating a positive and professional work environment while promoting the highest standards of care
Wellness Director Duties and Responsibilities:
โ€ข The coordination of resident care with a "hands on" management style
โ€ข Strong organizational skills
โ€ข Develops, reviews, and revises nursing and clinical policies
โ€ข Able to work days, but also willing to be flexible during a staff shortage or emergency situation
โ€ข Conduct employee performance evaluations and disciplinary situations to ensure quality care of residents
โ€ข Ability to multi-task
โ€ข Knowledge of State Specific Regulations
โ€ข Ability to lead in the recruitment of qualified staff by conducting interviews
โ€ข Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
โ€ข Ability to focus on customer service and collaboration with other departments to develop, support, and coordinate patient care and related functions
โ€ข Promote an atmosphere of respect, professional growth, and encouragement for all nursing staff members and assure regulatory standards and company goals are met or exceeded
