Job description

The Opportunity
As a Sr. Employee Relations Consultant in the Global Employee & Labor Relations (ELR) organization, you will serve as a strategic partner to leaders by delivering timely expert guidance on complex employee relations matters. You will help leaders make business aligned decisions through strong partnership and an understanding of Adobe's culture, policies, and organizational context.
Our team plays a critical part in creating positive, healthy organizational environments, crafting workforce change initiatives, and guiding employees and leaders through key moments in the workforce journey! We prioritize close collaboration with leaders, HRBPs, Employment Counsel, and internal Centers of Excellence to build consistency, fairness, and engagement.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will provide timely, organized ER consultation, partner closely with leaders to resolve complex people challenges and develop practical ER solutions that support business priorities. You will apply excellent judgment and situational awareness to anticipate issues and promote positive employee experiences.
Case Management & Intricate Employee Relations Support
  • Provide expert, timely and well-organized consultation on performance management, conflict resolution, conduct, reorganizations, critical exit matters, accommodations, wellbeing concerns, and employee engagement issues (investigations as needed).

  • Collaborate alongside leaders to develop ER action plans that reinforce expectations, support accountability, and deliver business aligned outcomes.

Reorganizations & Workforce Change
  • Advise leaders through reorganizations by guiding people impacts, role changes, communication approaches, and risk considerations.

  • Collaborate with Process Excellence teams, HRBPs, Legal, and cross functional partners to deliver organized, workforce transitions that support clarity and trust

Proactive Strategies & Organizational Health
  • Analyze trends in performance, engagement, team dynamics, and workplace behaviors to identify patterns, resolve concerns early, and deliver actionable insights.

  • Translate business challenges into scalable ER strategies that enable early intervention, strengthen leaders and positive outcomes aligned with Adobe's values.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner across the Employee Experience function with a forward-looking, consultative approach to advance fairness, transparency, and consistent global employee experiences.

  • Promote continuous improvement through feedback loops.

Employee Wellbeing & Policy Alignment
  • Provide empathetic, balanced counsel on wellbeing, leave-related, and sensitive workplace matters aligned with company policy, regulatory requirements, and Adobe's core values.

What You Need to Succeed
  • 8+ years of Employee Relations or HRBP experience supporting complex, sensitive people issues in fast paced, matrixed environments.

  • Demonstrated ability to resolve nuanced ER situations with excellent judgment, clarity, and influence.

  • Strong business insight with the ability to understand strategic objectives and develop ER approaches.

  • Ability to build relationships across all levels, including leaders, HRBPs, executives, and cross-functional partners.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulations; ADA and Leave of Absence; and general employment law principles.

  • Bachelor's degree required; JD, Masters, or HR certification preferred.

Expected Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $101,300 -- $209,950 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $145,000 - $209,950
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
