What is the difference between Employee Relations vs HR Generalist?
| Aspect | Employee Relations | HR Generalist |
|---|---|---|
| Primary Focus | Managing employee relationships, conflict resolution, and workplace culture | Handling a broad range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and compliance |
| Required Credentials | Typically HR certification or related experience | HR certification or degree often preferred |
| Work Environment | Employee-focused, often within HR teams | Varied, covering multiple HR functions across departments |
