Graduate Assistant (College Relations)
Nature of Work
Graduate Assistants are hired at Chadron State College to assist in meeting the vision and goals established for CSC. Strategic deployment of graduate assistant positions is essential to ensure that limited resources are utilized in a manner consistent with the philosophy of CSC. Graduate assistants provide experiential learning in select areas and to assist the individual in a successful transition to future educational and professional opportunities.
Examples of Work Performed
1. Gather data to assist the department in marketing decisions.
2. Assist with video productions to promote academic and departmental programs.
3. Assist with campus event coverage by taking photos, recording video clips, writing press releases, or interviewing subjects.
4. Assist with the creation and implementation of social media campaigns.
5. Assist with assigned website content management.
Required Qualifications
Completed Bachelor's degree
Conditionally accepted or accepted application to CSC graduate program
Work on the Chadron State College main campus
Preferred Qualifications
Written and verbal communication skills
Organizational and time management skills
Familiarity with CSC's policies and procedures
