POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking new additions to our team! Our Member Associates are vital to our member and new member experience. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides outstanding customer service to our members as they reach their wellness goals.
  • Follows YMCA policies, procedures, and responds to emergency situations.
  • Thinks, communicates and behaves as a cause-driven leader to promote the Y across departments.
  • Administrative duties; membership account management, answering phones, tours of the facility.
  • Willingness to assist other departments as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to relate effectively and establish positive relationships with our diverse community.
  • Previous customer service, sales or related experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of computers.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Weekend availability
  • Saturday 7am - 12pm
  • Sunday 11:30am - 3:30pm
