Job Description

This is not your every-day sales job. Due to our focus on training and education, we want you to develop a strong relationship with a core group of industry representatives. Many of these people will be senior level and you will be the voice of our company. 
Ready to take the lead? 

What you'll do every day:

  • Identify qualified prospective clients and develop loyal customer relationships
  • Make effective telephone presentations to prospective clients, clearly communicating the competitive advantage that attending our conferences will bring to their businesses
  • Maintain professional standards in marketing, sales & customer service
  • Research to understand the issues driving the energy industry, and communicate them to senior executives
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to pitching to closing
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of work experience or the equivalent in marketing or experience marketing B2B conferences or events
  • Self starter who doesn't give up
  • A strong communicator, both written and verbal
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment
  • Internet and social media savvy
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Great closing skills
  • Domestic travel 2-3 times per year
