2. Building intelligent systems that anticipate employee needs and proactively surface solutions

Creating seamless experiences that connect service teams across Amazon's HR support ecosystem
4. Developing scalable solutions that optimize workforce management and operational efficiency
Key job responsibilities
1. Lead the architectural design and development of critical platform features, ensuring solutions are highly scalable, maintainable, and align with AWS best practices
2.

Drive technical excellence through mentorship of junior engineers and establishment of coding standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices
3. Architect and implement AI powered solutions leveraging AWS services to enable predictive support capabilities and automated workflow orchestration
4. Design and build robust integration patterns between multiple HR systems while ensuring data security and compliance
5.

Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into elegant technical solutions
6. Lead cross-team technical initiatives and drive consensus on architectural decisions
7. Champion operational excellence through monitoring, alerting, and continuous improvement of system reliability

Partner with SDE-IIIs and Principal Engineers in the organization to drive execution of our 3-year architecture plans (3YAP) for the technology as well as drive tradeoff decisions balancing long term vision with delivering immediate impact to our customers.
9. Mentor for SDE-Is in the team, coaching your peers on engineering excellence and leadership principles and partner with SDMs and PMs to deliver team level goals.
10. Get an opportunity to be mentored by other Sr

engineers in the team and learn from Principal Engineers while working on the goals.

Attend a team-level operations review meeting to understand system health and identify actions we need to take to keep the system available for our clients.
Meet with a customer to understand the problems they are facing, brainstorm solutions, and discuss with your management to affect team priorities.
Review team designs and raise the design bar by providing insightful comments.
Coach team on new technologies and deliver team productivity gains.
Provide leadership support to the team by doing regular 1:1s and planning individual career development.
