Loureiro Engineering Associates is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team in Plainville, CT. In this role, you will drive growth and foster strategic partnerships by leveraging market insights, strengthening client relationships, and implementing innovative strategies to expand our client base and support revenue goals.

What You’ll Do
  • Achieve at least 10% annual growth of new clients and business opportunities.
  • Focus on environmental health and safety initiatives of industrial and/or manufacturing clients
  • Pursue new industrial customers’ opportunities utilizing a cross-functional business approach.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure customer deliverables are achieved.
  • Understand market dynamics and competition as it relates to our business model.
  • Identify and research potential clients and competition.
  • Pursue leads, timelines and execution time to close.
  • Generate & quantify warm leads to enhance and broaden business development growth goals.
  • Support RFQ/P process and submissions.
  • Seek out and attend targeted associations and trade show opportunities for team participation.
  • Work closely with division heads and LEA leadership.
  • Provide drive and a willingness to work cross functional to achieve a common goal.

What You Bring
  • BS / BA in Business, Marketing or related field. Engineering experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years developing business with manufacturing or industrial clients. Selling environmental health and safety services preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.

  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards

  • Ability to push, pull, and place materials on level surfaces and overhead cabinets
