Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Special Projects Intern - Davie, FL
Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Answer questions for students, faculty, staff, and the community by phone or in-person.
  • Providing support to the front desk staff, as needed
  • Report and communicate facility issues or concerns.
  • Educate and enforce policies and procedures
  • Assist with various programs and events.
  • Brainstorm ideas and provide feedback for programs and events.
  • Report any program or event related issues or concerns.
  • Work with programs staff on other various tasks and projects.
  • Identifying budget for program supplies and staffing
  • k with facilities and operations staff on other tasks and projects as needed.
  • Assisting the Marketing Team with tabling efforts, as needed
  • Brainstorming ideas for engaging content with Marketing Team for all social media platforms
  • Collaborate with other departments, within Campus Recreation and the university, to promote events

Minimum Qualifications:
Degree-seeking graduate student with a minimum of five credit hours (or nine if international) and a minimum 3.0 GPA. Authorized to work in the United States is required.
Demonstrated strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
CPR/AED and First Aid Certification are preferred.
Salary:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour.
