Job Summary:ย 

We are seeking a dependable Material Handler I to support production by managing inventory, moving materials, andย maintainingย accurateย records. The Material Handler Iย ensures smooth operations and on-time delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.ย Ifย you'reย ready to contribute to efficient operations and meet high-quality standards, consider becoming our next Material Handler I.ย 

Requiredย Duties and Responsibilities:โ€ฏย 

  • Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by fulfilling workorders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution.โ€ฏย 

  • Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area and bins.โ€ฏย 

  • Maintains inventory byย identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.โ€ฏย 

  • Executes physical material movement supporting system adjustments and transfers.โ€ฏย 

  • Performs material movement asย requiredย through non-conformance disposition.โ€ฏย 

  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.โ€ฏย 

  • Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering materials and supplies.โ€ฏย 

  • Locates and packs materials for shipping.โ€ฏย 

  • Will work with Planning to ensure that work orders are released, built, and completed as committed.โ€ฏย 

  • Will handle the movement and documentation of materials rejected in W.I.P. and their replacement.โ€ฏย 

  • Willย assistย in the issuing of labor/material to and closing of Work Orders.โ€ฏย 

  • Identifyย and deal with obsolete material as it occurs.โ€ฏย 

  • Assistย in Cycle Counting.โ€ฏย 

  • Assistย to maintain AS9100 QMS systems and process.โ€ฏย 

  • Aid in the entry of data and documentation to MRP system.โ€ฏย 

  • Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.โ€ฏย 

  • Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.โ€ฏย 

  • Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.โ€ฏย 

  • Responsible for actively promoting an ethics-based business culture in the project management organization, ensuring that all are aware of, and fullyย comply with,ย ESAeroโ€™sย policies.โ€ฏย โ€ฏโ€ฏย 

Required Qualifications and Skills:โ€ฏย 

  • A High School diploma or equivalent isย required.โ€ฏโ€ฏย 

  • APICS training and/or certificationย areย desirable.โ€ฏโ€ฏย 

  • Educated in ESD.โ€ฏย 

Desired Qualifications and Skills:โ€ฏย 

  • BA/BS degree desired.โ€ฏย 

  • Knowledge of operations, program management, project management, product development, and procurement desired. Demonstrated ability to make decisions and formulate and execute alternative plans when the need arises.โ€ฏย 

  • Ability to work well with others toย accomplishย tasks in support of the production plan and meet shipping deadlines.โ€ฏย 

  • Must be proficient in Excel and have some familiarity with SharePoint and ERP systems.โ€ฏย 

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing organization as a planner/expeditorย or material control specialist.โ€ฏย 

  • Familiarity with electronics manufacturing is preferred.โ€ฏโ€ฏย
