• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to identify clients' mental health concerns. Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to evaluate the severity and impact of symptoms, forming the basis for tailored treatment plans.
• Create individualized treatment plans that address each client’s unique challenges, incorporating both therapeutic goals and measurable outcomes to ensure progress and engagement.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing various evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques. Adapt therapeutic approaches to client needs and comfort levels.
• Engage in active collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to deliver comprehensive care, ensuring that all aspects of a client's health is being addressed effectively.
• Provide education and resources to clients' families, enhancing their understanding of mental health issues and encouraging supportive involvement in the recovery process.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, complying with HIPAA and other regulatory standards to uphold the highest ethical practices in mental health counseling.

Our counselors work with a diverse clientele, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and various other mental health conditions. Each counselor plays a role in creating a culturally competent environment, ensuring that clients from various backgrounds feel heard, respected, and valued. • A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida is essential.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in the mental health field.
• Demonstrated practical experience and expertise in mental health counseling techniques and methodologies.
• A solid understanding of evidence-based practices that encompass a variety of mental health disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, with a focus on building rapport and motivating clients through their recovery journeys.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective teamwork and collaboration.

• Experience in a community health clinic setting is highly valued.
• Specialized training or certifications in trauma-informed care, CBT, DBT, or family therapy are a plus.

• Attractive salary range of $80,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
