  • Partner with executive leadership to establish and execute annual business plans.

Build & Lead a High-Performance Sales Organization

  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain top sales talent.
  • Establish SMART goals, performance expectations, and accountability measures.
  • Conduct regular coaching and performance discussions.
  • Develop future leaders and succession pipelines.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and winning.
  • Support leadership development initiatives and professional growth.

Strengthen Strategic Relationships

  • Serve as a visible leader with customers, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Build trusted relationships with commercial real estate firms, A&D partners, contractors, enterprise clients, and manufacturer partners.
  • Participate directly in strategic pursuits and key client opportunities.
  • Collaborate with design, project management, operations, fulfillment, and support teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strengthen Storr's reputation and presence within the marketplace.

Deliver Operational Excellence & Results

  • Lead disciplined sales processes focused on pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, opportunity qualification, and win-rate improvement.
  • Utilize CRM data and analytics to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Drive performance across bookings, revenue, GP%, GP dollars, selling expense, and net income.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting rhythms that create visibility and accountability.
  • Support sales compensation and incentive strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Champion customer satisfaction and feedback initiatives.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required.
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience.
  • Commercial interiors, contract furniture, manufacturing, distribution, or workplace solutions industry experience required.
  • Office furniture dealership experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with commercial real estate firms, A&D firms, contractors, and enterprise-level clients.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including P&L leadership and margin management.
  • Knowledge of Steelcase products, workplace strategy, and integrated workplace solutions preferred.
  • Understanding of corporate, healthcare, education, and government markets preferred.

Leadership Profile

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strategic thinking and strong business acumen
  • Competitive drive balanced with strong emotional intelligence
  • Accountability, resilience, and adaptability
  • Coach-oriented leadership and talent development skills
  • Relationship-building and collaboration across functions
  • Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning
  • Confidence, authenticity, and a team-first mindset
  • Ability to lead change while building trust and engagement
