You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with the public, and support a people-first team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, residents, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local first responders when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public access areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with access control, directional support, and reporting of security-related concerns or maintenance issues.
  • Support a professional location presence by observing daily activity, following post orders, and completing routine reports, logs, and other assigned security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to ride a bike is required.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
