Role : Hardware Lead – Automotive ADAS & IVI

Location: - Novi MI - Onsite

Position :- Contract- 12+ Months

 

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Hardware System Architect / Hardware Project Lead with extensive expertise in automotive electronics, high-performance compute platforms, ADAS, Infotainment (IVI), and connected vehicle systems. The role owns end-to-end hardware product development from requirements through architecture, schematic design, PCB development, board bring-up, validation, and production release while collaborating with global OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.

 

Key Responsibilities

Β·       Define hardware architecture for automotive compute platforms.

Β·       Translate customer and system requirements into hardware specifications.

Β·       Develop Hardware–Software Interface Specifications.

Β·       Lead schematic capture, circuit design, component selection and qualification.

Β·       Support multi-layer high-speed PCB design and reviews.

Β·       Perform Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), Timing and Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA).

Β·       Lead board bring-up, debugging and root cause analysis.

Β·       Execute functional validation, EMI/EMC, environmental and burn-in testing.

Β·       Drive design reviews, technical governance and product release.

Β·       Coordinate with software, mechanical, PCB, vendors and customer teams.

Β·       Mentor engineering teams and lead customer technical discussions.
