ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Headquartered in Michigan, HDJ operates production offices in Muskegon and Grand Rapids, with an additional production office in Phoenix and satellite offices in Chicago, Indianapolis, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Billings and Cleveland.
This position can be based out of either of our West Michigan office locations - Grand Rapids or Muskegon.
Role Description
As an Electrical Engineer, your primary function will be the design, development and production of electrical construction drawings. You will have the opportunity to learn and work alongside not only other electrical engineers and mechanical engineers, but also with architects, interior designers, property owners, contractors and many other consultants.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
  • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Fundamentals of Engineering Certificate (FE) or ability to obtain.
  • Adaptable, Curious, Energetic, and Outgoing
  • A customer service attitude
  • An interest in building electrical systems including power, lighting, fire alarm and communications.
  • Experience with or an interest in learning BIM software.
  • Excellent written, verbal & visual communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a 'hybrid remote work' environment.
