Position Highlights

Position:Nurse Practitioner Emergency Medicine
Work Type:PRN / Per Diem
Location:Alamogordo, NMSchedule:

Schedule:

  • Per diem, as needed

  • Shifts scheduled2+ months in advance

Facility Overview:

  • 20 ED beds

  • 1012 recliners for fast-track and vertical patients

Patient Population:

  • Full age spectrum

  • Acuity typical of a community emergency department

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department

  • Provide high-quality, efficient care across varying acuity levels

  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary teams

  • Support CHRISTUS Healths mission of compassionate, patient-centered care

Experience & Preferred Background

  • Emergency Medicine experiencepreferred

  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Requirements
