Job description

Under the direction of the Program Manager this position is responsible for:
- Hiring, training, supervision, and coordination of direct support professionals (DSPs)
- Development, scheduling, training, program writing, program implementation, direct care, and staff oversight
- Evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery, methodologies, and progress on each recipient's outcomes based on measurable and observable criteria and case management
- Maintain compliance with MN Statute 245D license requirements. Encompasses client service delivery requirements, reports, record keeping, and team meeting coordination

Requirements:
- Experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons aged 65 and older AND/OR post-secondary education that totals 4 years
- Ability to learn, understand and implement 245D licensing requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Critical thinking skills and ability to independently problem solve
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team, leadership experience preferred
- Must be able to lift and transfer recipients, adhering to the physical demands of the job and safety requirements
- Able to travel between locations as necessary
- Pass a background study completed by DHS
- Computer skills
- Strong passion and desire to develop staff and the individuals we work with to their full potential
- Valid MN Driver's license

This is a full-time position with a mix of office time (Courtland) as well as direct care (in the New Ulm area). May include early evenings and occasional weekends (every other, if necessary).
