Job description

Our client is a well-established commercial electrical contractor in South Fulton with a long history of delivering complex electrical construction projects across Georgia. The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to develop budgets and cost estimates from conceptual design through construction documents. This role plays a key part in preconstruction planning, pricing strategy, and project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical budgets during SD and DD phases
  • Prepare detailed takeoffs and CD estimates
  • Review drawings, specifications, and conceptual documents
  • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
  • Identify scope gaps, risks, and cost opportunities
  • Provide value-engineering recommendations
  • Collaborate with design teams and project managers
  • Maintain estimating benchmarks and cost data 

Qualifications

  • Strong electrical estimating experience in commercial construction
  • Understanding of electrical systems and construction methods
  • Experience with conceptual budgeting and CD estimating
  • Proficiency with Accubid, Conest, Bluebeam, or Procore
  • Strong analytical and communication skills 

Preferred:

  • Electrical trade background or engineering experience
  • Experience estimating from design through construction documents
