Location: Greenfield, Indiana
Facility: Ascension St. Vincent
Department/Specialty: Ambulance Ground
Schedule: Full-time, Part-time, PRN. Day, Night, Rotating.
What You Will Do- Provide support treatment, care and evaluation of patients on scene and during transport.
- Arrive to the scene of an emergency, determines the situation, and develops a plan of action.
- Use appropriate medical equipment and comprehends the severity of the injury. Monitor patient condition and perform data collection. Communicate findings and patient condition to Registered Nurse (RN).
- Assist with the mobilization, ambulation and transport of patients.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Indiana Department of Homeland Security obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience preferred.
