About the "Department"

  • The Emergency Department at Montrose Regional Health is a Level III Trauma Center staffed 24 hours per day by Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians and RNs who are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and in Trauma Care.

About The Career:

  • The Business Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day business, financial, and administrative operations of the Emergency Department (ED). This role partners closely with the ED Director, Nursing/Clinical Leadership, ED Physicians, and hospital support services to ensure efficient patient flow, appropriate staffing and resource utilization, regulatory compliance, and a high-quality patient and family experience in a fast-paced 24/7 environment..

All About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Public Health, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • 3โ€“5 years of progressive operations, finance, or administrative management experience in a healthcare setting (hospital department preferred).

  • Experience supporting an Emergency Department or other 24/7 high-acuity service line preferred.

  • Experience with Lean/Six Sigma, process improvement, and change management (e.g., Green Belt certification) preferred.
